“I Am Not The One In The Viral Leaked Video” – Borteley Breaks Silence
Ghanaian influencer and aspiring lawyer Borteley has strongly denied being the person in a viral video that recently made rounds on social media. In a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter), she wrote, “I am not the one in the video,” making it clear that the circulating clip has nothing to do with her.
The issue began when Eben Mugeez, co-founder of HelloVybes and a publicist, shared an earlier report about the alleged scandal that had already been trending online. Following this, Eben revealed that he received a call from a woman named Nana Komiah, who requested that he remove the story. According to him, his client, Borteley, had officially filed a police complaint, calling the post a “false publication.”
“I took down the story not out of fear, but out of respect for Ghanaian law,” Eben explained. “The initial report was based on circulating information, but attaching the influencer’s real name and images was an error. We have since corrected it following our disclaimer policy.”
Before this action, Borteley personally reached out to HelloVybes to share how deeply the story affected her reputation and career. She appealed for empathy, urging the outlet to consider how such false reports could harm someone’s personal and professional life.
Recent updates from Web Viral Trends have confirmed that the video and claims linked to Borteley are completely false. The outlet emphasized that Borteley has officially denied all allegations and has taken legal action to protect her name and image.
The incident serves as a reminder of the dangers of misinformation online and highlights the importance of verifying stories before sharing them. Borteley’s calm and lawful response reflects her commitment to integrity and justice as she continues to clear her name from the baseless claims circulating on social media.
